On November 13, 2008 I spoke with Robert Rickover, author of Fitness Without Stress - A Guide To The Alexander Technique, and an Alexander Technique teacher for 28 years.  We talked about how F. M. Alexander developed this process to solve his own health problems 100 years ago and how popular it's become in the performing arts.  Last summer there was a major study published in Great Britain showing that A.T. is better for low back pain than either chiropractic care or the traditional pain killer + muscle relaxers + physical therapy treatment.  Another source of information is the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AMSAT).
